EVERY child must be pre-registered on the sign up genius that will go out to parents on March 1, 2016 at 9AM via the eblast system and Hesby Facebook.

It is the hope of the Variety Show Committee to make this year's show the biggest and best ever. We want to entice the whole school to purchase tickets to come and watch the show along with the families of the performers. Many hours of volunteer time has gone into how to make this possible. Their focus is on making this a fun way to showcase our student talent and that will take more parent volunteers.

What you need to know to prepare for the auditions:

⇒ All audition pieces must be the final product.
⇒ All audition pieces must be two (2) minutes in length.
⇒ All school appropriate acts are welcome-singing, dancing, juggling, magic, instrumentals, group acts, monologues, etc.
⇒ Students will sign up to try out to allow the creative team to form the best show possible. Every effort will be made to include all appropriate performances in some way.
⇒ You must sign your child up on the audition sign up that will go out via Hesby eblast at 9AM on March 1, 2016. (There will also be a Facebook post, but that posting time is not guaranteed)
⇒ Once your child is on the sign up genius for March 29TH , between 1:30-6:00PM, they will be allowed to audition and you will receive further information about the day and event. NO WALK-INS WILL BE ALLOWED.
Parents, if your child auditions, you must be prepared to volunteer to help with the show in some way (rehearsals, program creation, ticket sales, scenery, others not mentioned). This is not an after school class, but an event run by volunteers who will need help. Once audition sign ups are completed, a volunteer sign up genius will go out to those parents.
⇒ While we are asking that your child to audition with a final product, in the interest of time, duplication and show quality, some acts may be combine or artistically changed during rehearsals by the Show's team.
⇒ Note the date and time of all auditions, rehearsals and the final performance, if your child is not available at any of these, please do not have them audition. Attendance is mandatory at all of them or your child will be asked to not participate in the final performance
