Hello Hesby Families!

Welcome back to all of our new and returning families. My name is Christine Bullock, I am your 2023-2024 HIP (Hesby Involved Parents) board President. This will be my 15th year at Hesby Oaks Leadership Charter. My 3 older children have culminated out of Hesby and Connor my 4th will be starting middle school. Hesby is where my children began their school years and what a wonderful experience it has been. I am joined by Candace Larkin 2023-2024 HIP VP. We both are so looking forward to a great year. We, along with the board members, would like to say how excited we are to start a new year and look forward to meeting all of you!

H.I.P. stands for Hesby Involved Parents - we are a parent volunteer, non-profit organization that connects the students, families, teachers, and administration together. All parents of Hesby Oaks students are automatically members of H.I.P! We raise the necessary funds to cover the educational opportunities LAUSD does not provide. Our goal is to help create the best environment and experience for our Hesby students and families. How do we do that? For each year, we aim to raise a minimum of $250,000 to provide amazing classroom aides, enrichment staff, technology, community events, and programs that all Hesby students and families can enjoy.
