Here are announcements from Hesby Leadership concerning upcoming events:

World Kindness Day - Tuesday, November 13th is World Kindness Day! Hesby will be participating by kicking off our own Kindness Campaign. Let's start by being kind to each other and doing nice things for anyone we can. Why? Just because we want to make the world a little bit better.

Spirit Day - Yee Haw, Y'all! Friday, November 16th is Western Day! Dress in your favorite western wear and c'mon down to school and hoot and holler with us! Leave yer lassos at home, pardner.

Canned Food Drive - We're collecting canned food for the SOVA food bank. Our collections will go to help local families in need. The top 3 grade levels that bring in the most cans will win either a popsicle party, an ice cream party, or a hot chocolate extravaganza!

Yearbook photos - Hesby we need your photos for the yearbook! We can use pictures from any of the school events - Monster Mash, JDRF, Halloween parade, etc., as long as it's a school event. Here's how . . . (1) go to: tinyurl.com/hesbyphotos; (2) choose "Photo Post"; (3) Select City, State, and school (we're the only choices so it's quick).

You can create your own login account if you'd like or if you already created one, use that. Or, if you'd like, use the login: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the password: hesby. You'll see a screen with options to upload photos to an existing folder or add a new folder. Creating a new folder or using an existing folder will help us understand where to put the students in the yearbook. Thank you for helping make the yearbook great.

Political Signs Needed - The midterms are over and now what do you do with that sign advertising your candidate or proposition? Bring 'em in to school. Hesby's leadership class wants to re-purpose those signs to put up positive messages around school. If you see a sign on public property that someone "forgot" to pick up after the election, bring that one in too.
